The Venice Media District (VMD) is hosting its Spring 2013 Mixer at Hal’s Bar & Grill on
Abbot Kinney in Venice on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 6-9 pm. Named one of the
Top 10 neighborhood restaurants in America, Hal’s Bar is opening its private, upstairs
VIP room for the event. VMD’s seasonal Mixers have become the networking event
of choice for creatives working in production, post, and media in Venice and on the
Westside.

While enjoying VMD’s Spring Mixer, attendees will have the opportunity to win fabulous
give-aways donated by popular local businesses in Venice; including Venice Breeze
Suites, Studio Surya Yoga, Vintage Venice Reel to Real Tours, and Turning Point
Pilates. Short animated films will be screened by the students of Venice Arts. And each
attendee will receive a signature parting gift from A Window Between Worlds.
Along with mixing and mingling, String Theory will complement the event with music
guests can vibe to. The fun will also include Photography by well-known Venice Paparazzi.

Venice, CA — (July 9, 2012) –The Venice Media District (VMD) will host a Midsummer Soiree Mixer at Grainey Pictures on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 6-9 pm, featuring appetizers from China Beach Bistro and a selection of summer wines. A seasonal, low-key, post-work excuse for a drink & conversation, the VMD Mixers have grown into the “go-to” networking events for creatives working in production, post, and the media on the Westside.

Along with mixing and mingling, DJ Cathy De La Cruz will be providing a mellow set. Venice Paparazzi will host their uber-popular Social Media Photo Booth. Fabulous give-aways up for raffle are from local retailers Soft Peak Confections and Urban Escape.

Venice, CA — (June 19, 2012) – The Venice Media District (VMD) will host and moderate a panel at the Silicon Beach Festival this week, entitled “Silicon Beach: Creative Inspiration.” The panel will take place Friday, June 22 from 4-6 pm at Hotel Erwin.
