The first annual “Silicon Beach Fest” will be held this weekend in Santa Monica and Venice. The Fest was organized by Digital LA to celebrate LA tech, entertainment and startups with panels, keynotes, workshops and mixers. Tickets range in price from $100-$350, click here to see the schedule of events.

Highlights include the Silicon Beach Fest Hackathon, Meet the Accelerators panel (Including Amplify from Venice), Meet the VCs panel, Celebs & Startups panel, MySpace Alumni panel, Social Media panels, Branding / Advertising panels as well as numerous “get together” mixers.

The Venice Media District will host and moderate a panel entitled “Silicon Beach: Creative Inspiration” on Friday from 4-6 pm. The panel will be moderated by Colleen O’Mara Diamond (Co-Owner/Hype and Co-Founder & Chair/Venice Media District) and feature Robert Feist (Ravenswork and Founder/Venice Media District), Chris Raih (Zambezi, Founder/Managing Director), Holly Mosher (Independent Filmmaker), Debra Kaufman (Assoc. Editor/Creative COW & Freelance Writer/Variety) and Bill Megalos (Independent Filmmaker).
